Prague Community Hospital is a licensed 25 bed Critical Access Hospital. The hospital serves the community of 2500 as well as the surrounding smaller communities of Meeker, Paden, Boley, Arlington, Sparks and Little.

PCH provides acute care, 24 hour emergency room care, as well as Swing-bed services for those needing special skilled nursing care or rehabilitation needs after an acute care admission in any facility. The hospital also provides “respite” care services on a private-pay basis for those needing an assisted living type of environment either short or long-term.

Other services available at the hospital includes physical therapy, endoscopy, ultrasound and echocardiogram testing, cardiac stress testing, cataract surgery, holter monitoring, CAT scan, and diabetes diet counseling. All of these outpatient services may be accessed through the written order of any physician which makes it convenient for those patients that use a specialist or primary care physician from another city and need routine or follow-up lab work. This saves them an additional out-of-town trip to get lab work or x-rays done. Specialty clinics held each month include cardiology, urology, and nephrology.

Prague Community Hospital has an adjoining outpatient clinic now owned by Prague Community Hospital,  Dr. Darryl Jackson (D.O), Dr. Fowler, (D.O.), who both practice full-time in the clinic.  Mary Ann (Cook) Ward P.A-C, also works part-time in the clinic.  The clinic currently offers services in the following areas: pediatrics, beriatrics, geriatrics, general medicine, gynecology, minor surgical procedures, diabetes/blood pressure management, and sports medicine.

PMH’s mission is to provide convenient and cost-effective care with an emphasis on quality and personal care to Prague and neighboring communities.

Parkland Manor Care Center

Parkland Manor Care Center is located just a few blocks north of downtown Prague in a quiet, serene section of town. The facility has a licensed administrator and provides 24 hour licensed nursing supervision. Specialized services such as physical, speech, and occupational therapies are available to residents when needed. Medicare skilled beds are also available for the acute care resident.

Parkland Manor is a seventy-eight bed nursing center licensed by the State of Oklahoma. The facility has been serving the Prague and surrounding communities for over three decades.

In 1994 a new nursing center was constructed to provide expanded services. The most recent addition to Parkland Manor is the T.A. Connery Rehabilitation Center. Provided in a well-equipped, out-patient clinic adjacent to the Parkland Manor, the facility offers continuity of treatment between therapists and direct-care staff for post-CVA convalescence.
